August 26, 2010On August 26th, Alan will conduct Open Government Training for the City of Eden. The 2-hour session satisfies the statutory mandate on Open Meetings and Open Records education for newly-elected officials.
July 9, 2010Alan will be conducting Open Government training for the Certified Public Manager (CPM) Program at Texas State University-San Marcos, on Friday, July 9th, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. The course will cover the Texas Open Meetings Act and the Texas Public Information Act.
June 24-27, 2010The firm is proud to sponsor the 2010 TCMA Annual Conference, which will be held at the Moody Gardens Hotel in Galveston, June 24-27.

May 14, 2010On May 14, Alan will be presenting on "Green Development: Landscaping, Conservation of Open Space & New Trends" at TML's seminar, Planning & Development Regulations: What City Officials Need to Know, which will be held at the DoubleTree Austin North in Austin, Texas.
March 24-26, 2010Alan speaks on both Zoning Procedures, and Tree Preservation at the University of Texas School of Law's annual Land Use Conference in Austin, Texas.
February 26, 2010Alan presents his paper, "Open Government & The Net: Bringing Social Media into the Light", as a panelist at a conference for the City-County Communications and Marketing Association. The event is titled, "Back to the Future: The Digital Natives are Restless," and will be held at the historic Uptown Theater in Grand Prairie, TX.
